The project construction started on August 16, 2017, and was launched in schools in September 2019.

The curriculum was developed based on market research conducted in 2018.

Objectives

  • Training students from technical schools to become web and mobile application developers.
  • Providing students with the necessary tools, including technical and life skills, to enter the job market.
  • Building teachers’ technical and pedagogical capacities.

Methodology

  • Studying the labor market.
  • Analyzing the corresponding sectors and jobs.

The activities

  • Networking between companies, schools, and experts.
  • International experience: Partnership with La Fédération des Cégeps (Canada).
  • Accreditation of the specialization by the General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education in Lebanon.
  • Launching the project in six schools: 169 students, 35 teachers (BT1 and BT2), and two more new schools joining in 2022.
