IECD (Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développementis a French non-governmental organization founded in 1988 and operating in the field of social and economic development in partnership with local institutions. IECD’s main sectors of action are vocational training and professional integration, assistance to micro and small enterprises and access to education and health for the most vulnerable. In Lebanon, IECD has been operating in the country since 1989.

Semeurs d’Avenir (SDA) is a Lebanese association, created in 2010, registered under the number 1905. It is the operational partner of IECD in Lebanon.

IECD and Semeurs d’ Avenir are recruiting a Skills Development Trainer and Coach as part of the PARAMED Project implemented by IECD in the health sector, will design, deliver, and evaluate training programs tailored to the needs of health professionals and institutes.

Role Overview:

The Skills development Trainer and Coach will be responsible for delivering high-quality life skills training and coaching to nurses trained in governmental hospitals. The role involves developing training content, implementing sessions, and providing tailored coaching support to assist nurses in their professional and personal development and enhance their employability chances

 

MISSION

Under the responsibility and with the coordination of the Senior Skills Development Trainer and Coach, the coach will be responsible of:

1/ Training Design and Delivery:

  • Conduct training needs analysis before each training.
  • Design and deliver interactive life skills training sessions aligned with organizational goals and the needs of health professionals.
  • Ensure training sessions are engaging, practical, and aligned with the project’s objectives.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of training sessions through participant feedback and adapt content accordingly.
  • Schedule the dates of the training in coordination with the Senior Skills Development trainer and coach.
 
  • 2/ Coaching:
  • Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions to support nurses in achieving personal and professional goals.
  • Develop personalized coaching plans tailored to individual needs and challenges.
  • Track progress and maintain documentation for each coaching session.
 
  • 3/ Evaluation and Assessment:
  • Assist in the evaluation of training programs effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement assessment tools to evaluate skills, competencies, and learning outcomes.

Ensure training content is inclusive, up-to-date, and compliant with IECD standards.

4/ Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed training reports, including attendance, progress, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in analyzing training data to assess effectiveness and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in building and collect quantitative and qualitative data in accordance with the project log frame, by working on the internal M&E tools.
 

5.Support for Other Projects

  • Assist in designing and implementing training programs adaptable to various sectors, including health, education, and other industries as needed.
 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field- Certification in Training/Coaching
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in training, coaching, or facilitation. Experience in the healthcare or NGO sector is a plus.
  • Driving license
 

Required skills and competencies:

    • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in tailoring coaching and training methods to diverse audiences.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation tools is an advantage.

CONDITIONS

Under the supervision of: Senior Skills Development Trainer and Coach

Location: Beirut with regular visits to all the Lebanese territories.

Period of employment: 1 year renewable

Remuneration: 1300 – 1800 USD
