Nursing Training coordinator

IECD (Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement) is a French non-governmental organization founded in 1988 and operating in the field of social and economic development in partnership with local institutions. IECD’s main sectors of action are vocational training and professional integration, assistance to micro and small enterprises and access to education and health for the most vulnerable. In Lebanon, IECD has been operating in the country since 1989.

Semeurs d’Avenir (SDA) is a Lebanese association, created in 2010, registered under the number 1905. It is the operational partner of IECD in Lebanon.

IECD and Semeurs d’ Avenir are recruiting a Nursing Training coordinator to assist the senior training coordinator in the implementation of the activities of Healing Hands Project.

The “PARAMED” project aims to train, with the collaboration of the public hospitals, recently graduated nurses all over Lebanon to improve their skills and ensure better employability.

MISSION

Under the responsibility and with the coordination of the Senior training coordinator, the training coordinator will be responsible of:

1/ Activities’ implementation and coordination

• Plan and organize activities such as trainings, events, TOT…timeline according to the global action plan and to the beneficiaries’ availabilities.
• Ensure the logistics and coordination of the activities.
• Take a role in the development and adaptation of the activities.

• Lead the outreach and selection of beneficiaries.
• In coordination with the hospital training coordinator, revise and validate the training lessons.
• Regularly visit the training and participate in the evaluation.

2/ Beneficiaries & hospitals follow up

• Set up a clear follow-up action plan during and after the activities’ implementation.
• Work on employability tools to enhance the placement of the beneficiaries.
• Participate in the regular coordination meetings with the hospitals and different partners.

3/ Reporting

• In coordination with the MEAL Coordinator, collect quantitative and qualitative data in accordance with the project log frame, by working on the internal M&E tools.

4/Others:

• In coordination with the Communication department, involve in an active way in the social media visibility of the project by identifying success stories, and testimonies, and sharing updates of activities with the communication manager to be posted on social media.

PROFILE

Education:  Master degree in nursing field

Experience: 7 to 10 years’ experience.

Experience in nursing education is a plus.

Previous experience in NGOs or international organizations is a plus.

Required skills and competencies:

• Excellent interpersonal and facilitation
• Good skills in Microsoft Pack.
• Strong motivation to work in the field with various profiles of beneficiaries and consultants.
• Adaptability and excellent listening.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Show initiative and be able to work independently.
• Good organizational skills, ability to co-develop and follow a detailed project plan.
• Ability to identify project objectives and work towards reaching them.
• Native command of the Arabic language and a good level of spoken and written English or French.

CONDITIONS

Under the supervision of: Senior training coordinator

Location: Beirut with regular visits to all the Lebanese territories.

Period of employment: 1 year renewable

Remuneration: 1500-2000 USD
