A Health Day with the participation of the Caregiver trainees

A Health Day with the participation of our Caregivers training beneficiaries, with the medical team of Rafic Hariri University Hospital (RHUH).
This health day organized by Semeurs d’Avenir in cooperation with IECD at Rafic Hariri University Hospital (RHUH), included free blood pressure, diabetes and biomass (BMI) tests, as well as free medical consultations and advice from a nutritionist.

All this was done under the supervision of the RHUH medical team, with the objective of raising awareness on the risks of diabetes and hypertension.
This day has also included the inauguration of the treatment room of the cardiac intensive care unit. Funded by UNHCR Lebanon, this room is now fully equipped, and it is now functional thanks to the efforts of the short training beneficiaries who worked on the necessary installation.

The Health Day ended with the Graduation Ceremony of 74 trainees who officially received their certificates of participation in the short training program, after having completed one of the following trainings: “electrical installations”, “plumbing installations”, “refrigeration and air conditioning” and the “Caregiver” training.
